Gaining and committing to new directions in ourselves requires releasing regrets and despair from the past to allow room for growth.
We take these steps as an individual, a family and a tribe. Our brother and sister the Birch Tree live in groves with common root systems which stretch for miles and last for hundreds of years. Each individual springs from the gifts and love of the ones who came before, like we do.
Beginnings are scary, and this is necessarily stimulating. Not to to be allowed to become our master, just a reminder of the value of our moving forward, therefore growth. After all, growth is the only proof of life.
